Who can apply for a Wellness Grant?

  • Full-time and part-time staff of Portland Village School and PVA who meet the employment requirement.

  • Active, paid members of the PVA.

  • Anyone who wishes to nominate someone or submit an application for a community initiative that aligns with the wellness mission.

What can the grant be used for?
The grant can be used for any purpose that aligns with wellness, such as therapy, fitness memberships, retreats, self-care tools, or wellness-related community initiatives.

How much money is awarded per grant?
Grant amounts vary based on available funds and the number of approved applications. Full-time staff will receive set grants, while part-time staff receive prorated amounts.

How are applications reviewed?
Applications are reviewed by the Wellness Grant Committee based on alignment with the PVA’s wellness mission, potential impact, and completeness.

Can I apply for someone else?
Yes, but you must include written consent from the individual you are nominating.

What happens if I don’t use the funds as intended?
Failure to use funds as intended may result in forfeiting future eligibility for Wellness Grants.

When is the deadline to apply?
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. The grant committee meets 3 times a year. Grants are distributed in January, May, and October.
